A MsyterU game is played entirely from a device, be it a PC, tablet, or smartphone. You are not locked in a room and there is no timer running. There are puzzles, however.
In the case of our MysterU escape rooms, the games are presented as cases to be solved and so players are called upon to take on the role of secret agents and search for clues to solve the mystery. Once you start the game, whether you are alone or in a group, you will be given the preliminary details of the case, the first clues to base the investigation on, and then you will have to search the entire open web for the clues that will lead you to the solution.
Yes, you got it right: We have hidden the clues in real sites, forums, and social networks, and it is up to you to put the pieces together and build a coherent path to be able to reconstruct what happened and complete the investigation as quickly as possible.
The time factor is not a problem; there is no timer to signal you to finish the game because you can take as long as you like! In fact, once you create your secret agent account, you can pause the game whenever you want and resume it the next day, the next week, or even the next month. Your progress will be saved and you can catch up with the investigation whenever you like.
