MysterU was born in the fall of 2019, from the minds of Sasha and Stephen (to see their video interview, click here), fans of escape rooms and the digital world. The birth of this project comes directly from the sum of these two passions, and after developing 12 versions of the game, they managed to find a perfect balance between difficulty and playability!

The real novelty of their project, which sets it apart from other escape games in Italian, lies in the game dynamics: there are no classic riddles, and no locks to open, but to solve a MysterU case, you will have to investigate in the open web! On the initial platform, you will be given the first clues and it also represents “the archive” of your investigations, but then you will have to navigate real sites, forums and social networks to unearth the clues that will lead you to solve the case.

And if you get stuck, don’t worry! There is a secret agent you can interact with and an aid system that will guide you if needed!

Escape Games: 3 Cases to Solve

Let us now see what “rooms” are available, which take the form of the following cases to be solved. Our games, in fact, are presented as spy stories, or otherwise adventures shrouded in mystery, and the task of the player will be to investigate, and search for traces and clues to solve the puzzles!

1. The Cook: This is our most difficult MysterU case, in fact, we recommend it for ages 16 and up. You are secret agents and are given a delicate investigative task, to uncover the identity of a criminal who calls himself The Cook. But things are not as simple as they seem and the person who hired you may not be telling the truth….
   
2. The Black Tulip: The MysterU case of medium difficulty, suitable for those unfamiliar with puzzles and who may want to warm up before trying The Cook. Indeed, it allows you to familiarize yourself with the mechanics of investigation and searching for clues. Again you will have to solve a mystery and try to retrieve information to uncover some secret identities without getting caught!
   
3. Ghosts: This is the MysterU case we have dedicated to the little ones! The theme is Halloween and the purpose is to help a man prepare an antidote potion to drive away spirits that threaten people’s lives.
