MysterU: Who is the Secret Agent?

With MysterU, you can play the role of a secret agent during the mission of The Cook; the resolution of the case will depend solely and exclusively on your skills! You will be able to immerse yourself in a real case, following leads and analyzing files.

But let’s start from the beginning: Who are the secret agents?
Raise your hand if you have never heard of spies or can’t name one right now! I’m sure you’ve all thought about James Bond and 007. MysterU boasts lots of 007 wannabes.

Here, for example, is the candidacy of this spy: “At this difficult time, the world needs my investigative talent. AGENT 000 in the service of the Crown Virus.”

Here’s another question to see whether you are actually informed about this topic: What is one of the most famous detective agencies in the world? The CIA i.e. Central Intelligence Agency, exactly! You probably know this answer because of all the movies or TV series dealing with this American agency. Then there is the MI6, which is British, and MOSSAD which is Israeli. In Italy we have the AISE (Agenzia informazioni e sicurezza esterna) and AISI (Agenzia informazioni e sicurezza interna).

MysterU: But Who Really is the Secret Agent?

A secret agent works for an organization headed by a state, whose work is covered, as the word itself says, by secrecy. They thus operate for the purpose of safeguarding national interests through intelligence activities. They put espionage activities into practice abroad and counter-espionage in their own country. As you can see they always have their work cut out for them!

The secret agent in MysterU, must have a number of skills and capabilities; let’s see what they are:

• Must be able to handle new, perhaps even dangerous, situations;
• Is intelligent;
• Must start looking at things differently, everything can be useful for a spy, just as in the MysterU cases;
• Be physically fit; this may be needed for the long hours of stalking, or should he/she need to save his life;
• Must pass in observation and thus hide in plain sight. They need to be able to blend in with the surrounding population;
• Participates in community activities, learning to observe without being noticed;
• Erases all traces of himself/herself from the Internet so as not to be discovered or be the object of revenge;
• Must be able to understand when to keep quiet and especially how to react when caught;
• Must not be nervous and must be able to mask their emotions well in some cases;
• Must be able to follow without being seen;
• Being able to lie and catch lies when they are told;
• Must have good knowledge of technological and computer tools;
• Finally, know and use for information transmission of encrypted tools or codes.

Especially the last point; some of our secret agents of MysterU are familiar with it, and in their application they presented themselves like this:

“When the cuckoo meets the sunrise under the great oak tree at the place where the leather moccasins are gathered, the old sailor returns to the nest with two dolls as a gift. As required by the agency, we have coded the application.
To avoid data leaks we pray the use of the same code in each subsequent email. – Agent Zeno and Pascal.”

Doesn’t it sound great? Original and imaginative just as a real spy should be!
