Digital Murder Mystery Dinner: 8 Unknown Diners Brought Together By a Secret

Have you ever thought of participating in a digital murder mystery dinner? Well, I have! I must admit that this particular dinner was really enlightening in some ways.

I don’t doubt that there have also been incidents that leave a lot to be desired, but in any case, we are all adults and can deal with the consequences.

I know, that you are now intrigued by my premise but attending the digital murder mystery dinner is an exclusive event, and not everyone can access it. I didn’t tell you anything.. and I don’t like subterfuge, but anyway, if you want to participate you could try to bribe the maître d’hôtel by purchasing your seat by clicking here.

I am a person who has always had to get out of situations on my own, even the…how do I put it, the most unpleasant ones… that is why I was invited.

Then, let’s say that since I was a little girl I liked to decide and organize games to play with my classmates, so when I received the invitation I was all excited but at the same time also scared of what might happen that night.

Of course, this is not the place to tell you about it; what happens at the digital murder mystery dinner stays at the digital murder mystery dinner…

But let’s get back to us…

Digital Murder Mystery Dinner: The 7 Unknown Diners

As you may have guessed, in this digital murder mystery dinner, I was not alone. With me, there were 7 other strangers… taking into account that I am a determined person I did not let my emotions or insecurities overwhelm me in this mysterious dinner.

Also at my table was a certain Giorgio Gagliardi; he seemed like a restless guy right from the start. In fact, to be honest, he gave me the impression that he was the digital murder mystery dinner bully. I caught a glimpse of the tattoo of a knife on his arm which made me think that he is a lover of white weapons. I recognized the symbol because I dealt with a gym instructor who had the same tattoo at the club where I worked. In fact, I learned from a colleague of mine that that instructor was a criminal who committed robberies. But I, basically, had always known that he was shady, kind of like this Giorgio Gagliardi.

Another diner at this digital murder mystery dinner who seemed to me to be disreputable and reprehensible, though I cannot explain why, is Thomas Padelli. This man is a classic old creep with money. When we introduced ourselves I could tell he was an important one; I didn’t understand what professional field he worked in but I knew he was making good money. The golden Rolex he had on his wrist seemed like a very good clue. In any case, I did not exchange a single word with him!

Fortunately, there were more interesting and intriguing people at this digital murder mystery dinner than the former, such as John Dominici, who I must say, was a charismatic and charming person. He knew exactly what to say at every opportunity and he was also very handsome! He seemed very familiar, almost as if I knew him but he didn’t seem to be of the same opinion.

At first, I thought I had done something to him, but then I realized that he was simply wary of the fairer sex. The reason still remains unknown to me but I still remember a phrase he repeated to another diner:

Just had to happen to me: according to a 2019 Istat survey it is reported that 88 women per day experience violence“.

I am familiar with this survey because I am very sensitive to the issue of violence against women.. so it struck me! But that’s a topic I definitely don’t want to address in this digital murder mystery dinner…

Anyway, I have to tell you that even though it seemed a bit suspicious to me because of this sentence, I still found it very charismatic and beautiful.

Another diner whom I liked right away at this dinner was Natalia Romani, a woman who was sweet on the surface but with deep pain inside. Maybe it was my impression or maybe not, but I think this young woman had connections with some of the other participants. She didn’t seem well-disposed toward everyone or she was simply terrified of this digital murder mystery dinner.

I don’t know much about her; she didn’t talk much and only said that she lost a loved one and then somehow, because of bureaucracy, she lost her again. Of course, I was curious to know more about it, but she did not feel like telling this sad story that deeply destroyed her.

There were also two siblings who were totally different from each other, Luigi Carrara, who seemed to me to be pragmatic and thoughtful, but at the same time, individualistic and self-centered. While his sister, Giulia Carrara, seemed to me to be a romantic and traditionalist woman.

Luigi, from what was said during the dinner, has been living with a new partner for a few years. His marriage failed because of his selfishness and the jealousy he had toward his ex-wife. His passion was his work, he told us; he studied hard to reach the prestigious position he held but then, because of something or someone, he found himself being treated by a psychologist to beat depression and was out of work.

It seems, precisely, that depression is a common thing for the two Carrara siblings, while for the former it is work-related, it seems, for the latter it is emotional or rather heart-related.

In fact, from indiscretions with Gagliardi, I was able to learn that Giulia had been engaged for several years to an older man, who had already been married, but who was so gallant that he had stolen her heart. Just one of those men from another era, to understand. Unfortunately, something in the relationship went wrong, in fact, it would seem that at an extremely important moment in their story, he forgot a date and ran off to the mountains for a romantic weekend with his mistress!

No wonder the story then ended!

Finally, the last diner at this digital murder mystery dinner was Antonio Sorrentino, a quiet man whom you would call a gentle giant. Antonio is married with a son but does not have a happy life. From what I understand he was very scarred by the war in Kosovo. Surely, he was grieving over the loss of some comrades or the massacre of innocents he witnessed.

Looking at him, you can immediately see that he was a military man and participated in a war; there was something in his movements and the way he stared at everyone…I’m sure something really important happened in Kosovo for him, and it seems to me that he recognized another diner, but I don’t know who and how they knew each other.

As you can see these were my diners at the digital murder mystery dinner. Let’s just say that it didn’t exactly end well, as you may have guessed there was a death but still the inspector hasn’t solved the case; he can’t figure out what the connection is between us and to tell you the truth I didn’t figure it out either.

I can tell you that I received an invitation inviting me, without much ado, to show up at that place at that time, and then what happened happened and I still get tears in my eyes thinking about it. I don’t know why it had to happen to me, but I am sure that if someone else were to attend they would know how to fix things and most importantly they would be able to understand why the 8 of us gathered at a table.

Anyway, if you want to try to participate in a digital murder mystery dinner, click here, but think carefully before you do it because a psychopath might lock you in a room with other people you don’t even know to do strange things…

I did come out of it, but I am still scarred.

Thank you for reading what I had to say; I’m sure you identified perfectly with me…..
